The World association of judo is association by the developing and propagandizing judo as the system of harmonious development of the person.

The initial name Association of Clubs of Judo (2002) which has been changed on Association of amateur and professional clubs of judo (2004), and then to the World association of judo (2015).
At the moment the headquarters of the World association of judo is located in the city of Moscow (Russian Federation), and there are also branches in the Bulgaria and Israel.
